Under the Surface was a long and challenging process for me.

I restarted it many times, building colourful blocks, covering them, removing them, and building again until it finally resonated. The many layers reflect that journey and invite closer looking - to discover what lies beneath the surface.

Coffee grounds and sand create a rich texture, giving the work depth and structure shaped by persistence.
