Terra refers to the Aussie land and its beautiful colors.

I am so drawn to these beautiful oranges and reds. They are the absolute core of this entire body of work. That fiery, textured energy moves right through the center of the canvas, surrounded by quieter, smoky tones.

By physically mixing the red sand and soil from our back yard straight into the medium, the canvas becomes a literal piece of our new home. To me, this painting is a true, unfiltered celebration of this beautiful place.
