This piece is a lot more organic and came from a deep place of letting go. When I paint, I disappear entirely into my inner being and the world on the canvas, and that’s exactly what happened here.

This work is built around a heavy, raw geological ridge cutting diagonally through the center, surrounded by softer washes of cream and ochre. I am so happy with how this turned out because it feels like the moment I found my painting self again - returning to the true, raw instincts that painting always calls me back to.
