This piece emerged from a deep state of play. It began with defined shapes and borders, but they didn’t feel right, so I reworked it completely. I allowed intuition to guide each stroke, colour, and placement without a fixed plan.

The process felt almost meditative, somewhere between the present moment and my inner world - an experience that ultimately gave the work its name, Antara, meaning “in between” in Indonesian.
